On moving for a refuel, the steering pin that connects the ground tug to the aircraft seemingly fell out. Timothy Brown was traveling north on Rt 11 in the town of Masardis Maine when a snowmobile crossed the roadway in front of him at a high rate of speed.
As he was approaching the trail another snowmobile came out and attempted to cross Rt. 11 right in front of him. The snowmobile struck the tractor trailer on the side and the front of the snowmobile traveled under the truck where the snowmobile was torn in half.
Jeremy Allen from Huntingtown, Maryland, stated that this was his 3rd day of snowmobiling ever, and he was traveling with 3 other snowmobile's as a group.
He said he was the number 2 snowmobile in the group. He said the snowmobile in the front of him went across the road and that when he himself approached the stop sign on the trail, he said it was right on the side of the road and he did not have time to stop.
He then slid out into the road and struck the tractor trailer right in front of it's driver's side rear wheels. I asked him if visibility was an issue as it was snowing quite heavily, and he said no.
It's not even going to take a 2nd grade kid to figure out the obvious result. Instead of testing the frozen river to determine a safe weight limit, they went with the judgement of the people with the money who talked the loudest.

If police wish to establish probable cause, they are going to have to find another way besides just saying they smelled something that might have been marijuana because of the 2010 Medical Marijuana Act.
The Arizona State Court of Appeals handed down that verdict, saying that since the state now has legal medical marijuana, the odor of raw or burnt cannabis itself does not constitute probable cause. This ruling could logically be extrapolated to and applied as a reasonable defense in other states where medical marijuana is legal, and even those states bordering them.
High Times reported that in the decision, Judge Peter Eckerstrom explained that medical marijuana “is lawful under Arizona law,” and therefore “its scent alone does not disclose whether a crime has occurred.”
Eckestrom added that if this is not followed, the police would be violating the peoples’ constitutional rights.
“Were we to adopt the state’s suggestion that scent alone furnishes probable cause of a crime, medical marijuana patients would become second-class citizens, losing their rights to privacy and security, including privacy within their own homes.”
Marijuana is legal in Arizona for 65,000-plus qualified patients and the hundreds of dispensary workers, cultivators, caregivers and cannabis chefs who are legally allowed to possess it.
The case that resulted in this change to common policy was that police obtained a second warrant for a warehouse unit based on nothing but the smell. This time, the raid uncovered a "sophisticated" grow operation with 357 plants, plus 53 pounds of marijuana that had already been grown.

to explain the 30 year reference, it's because Benz was the 1st car maker, and it was alone for 30 years without competition from other German brands until BMW was created. (I am not validating that, just explaining the reference, as Porsche, Auto union, Horch, DKW, Wanderer, and the Italian car, and the french cars, etc etc were around before BMW) I presume they refer to a long lasting and admirable competition from another German car maker that competes on so many levels, from inexpensive, to million dollar cars.
